‘A timeless symbol of unity’. This family portrait consists of my brother, his wife, and their two daughters. His subtle, relaxed posture as he sits on the couch in close bond with his loving wife and two endearing daughters. How strong is the bond that ties a family together? Stronger than flesh can exist. And as far back in time, that the mind sees forward. Very nonchalant are they? The elder daughter just home from school. The baby, nervous and inquisitive, as she fuddles her fingers with her shy gaze. The mother…what a dear to them all, as she tends with loving affection, encouragement and warmth within the home. The father, whom has provided stability, assurance, and the shade of protection, that no existence of weather can dethrone.
