Oil on wood
14" x 18"
Tuesday, July 4th 2017, the Independence Day of the United States, it was great spending the day just north of the border painting these monumental falls. Hundreds of passersby witnessed the blank panel of wood evolving into a rushing river of two falls on an inviting sunny afternoon in Ontario, Canada. On this solo project, it was amazing the camera equipment, the painting easel were damaged, or the space where I was painting was rarely, if that, disturbed. There were some inviting and, shall I say, candid, conversations.
